Aldo Romano

Born in Belluno and brought to France as a child, he came to prominence in 1963 alongside Don Cherry, recorded with Steve Lacy and toured with Dexter Gordon before moving to fusion in the 1970s. He helped launch Michel Petrucciani and received the Jazzpar Prize in 2004.
