Alfredo Rodríguez

Born in Havana in 1985, Alfredo Rodríguez began with percussion before piano and trained at the Manuel Saumell and Amadeo Roldán conservatories. Discovered by Quincy Jones at the Montreux festival in 2006, he moved to the United States via Mexico in 2009 and recorded for Mack Avenue under Jones's direction.
