Brazilian jazz-funk trio formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1973 by José Roberto Bertrami, Alex Malheiros, and Ivan Conti, initially studio musicians, notably for Marcos Valle. Its music is called "Samba Doido"; "Jazz Carnival" reached number 19 on the UK singles chart in January 1980.
