Bebo Valdés

Pianist and arranger with the Tropicana orchestra in Havana from 1948, he took part in 1952 in the first descarga recorded in Cuba. Exiled in 1960 and then settled in Sweden, he returned to recording with "Bebo Rides Again" (1994) and the success of "Lágrimas Negras".
