Earl Fuller

conductor · 1885–1947 · Stonington

Pianist, singer, and dancer, probably born in Louisville, he published "Mister Johnson, Turn Me Loose" in 1896. He first presented himself as the inventor of ragtime, for which his contemporaries reproached him; only a single 1925 cylinder of him survives.
