Eddie Vinson
Alto saxophonist and blues singer, Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson began in Milton Larkin's orchestra in the 1930s, then moved to Cootie Williams, with whom he recorded "Cherry Red". His nickname comes from a hair straightener that made him lose his hair, hence the shaved head.
