Henri Texier

Self-taught double bassist, he played from 1965 in one of the first French free jazz groups and toured with Phil Woods's European Rhythm Machine. A mainstay of the Label Bleu catalog, he recorded extensively with Louis Sclavis and Aldo Romano.
