French flutist, singer, and composer of Syrian descent born in Paris in 1984, trained on the ney in Damascus. Winner of the 2019 Victoire du jazz (unclassifiable album) for "Quest of the Invisible," she was made a Chevalier of the Arts and Letters in 2023.
