Belgian guitarist born in London to an English mother and a Belgian father, he grew up in Brussels and began his recording career in 1972 with Stream. He replaced Jan Akkerman in Focus in 1976, recorded with Charles Mingus and formed a trio with Didier Lockwood and Christian Escoudé.
