Pierre Michelot

Bassist who first trained as a pianist, he accompanied many visiting American jazzmen in Paris, from Bechet to Monk and Miles Davis. He took part in the soundtrack of Elevator to the Gallows in 1957 and in Jacques Loussier's Play Bach trio before turning to studio arranging.
