Tommy Dorsey

Trombonist nicknamed "The Sentimental Gentleman of Swing," in 1935 he left the orchestra he co-led with his brother Jimmy to found his own, whose theme song is "I'm Getting Sentimental Over You." In 1940 he hired the young Frank Sinatra, who came from Harry James's orchestra.
