Flamenco jazz
Born from the experiments of the 1960s and 1970s by flamenco musicians such as Paco de Lucía and Camarón de la Isla (the "nuevo flamenco"), flamenco jazz developed in the 1970s and 1980s: often instrumental tracks, virtuosity, flamenco rhythms and improvisation over jazz chord changes. Jorge Pardo and Chano Domínguez are Spanish figures of the style.
