Bernie's Tune
Context
Theme by pianist Bernie Miller, about whom little is known, which the Gerry Mulligan Quartet recorded in 1952 in Los Angeles without a piano. It was released as the first 45 rpm record on Dick Bock's Pacific Jazz label and helped draw attention to West Coast jazz.
