Context
Reworking of Bud Powell's Glass Enclosure on Mise en Abîme, an album by Steve Lehman's octet released on Pi Recordings on June 24, 2014. Lehman, who studied at Columbia with the spectral composer Tristan Murail, transposes three Powell pieces into a spectral harmony, with electronics and a custom-tuned vibraphone.
