Opening track of the album Waltz for Debby (Riverside, 1962), this ballad was captured on June 25, 1961 at the Village Vanguard by the trio of Bill Evans, Scott LaFaro and Paul Motian. LaFaro died in a car accident ten days later, leaving this concert as the trio's testament.
