Composition by Scott Joplin opening Air Lore, an album by the trio Air devoted to Joplin and Jelly Roll Morton, recorded in New York on May 11 and 12, 1979. Gary Giddins saw in it "Air's most remarkable achievement" and DownBeat gave it five stars. The trio was formed in 1971 under the name Reflection, for a tribute to the Joplin centennial.
