Spanish pianist known for his fusion of jazz and flamenco, he has worked with Paco de Lucía, Enrique Morente, Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, and Paquito D'Rivera. Based in New York, he recorded Piano Ibérico (2010) and then Flamenco Sketches (2012) for Blue Note, a flamenco reinterpretation of Kind of Blue.
