Pianist and composer born in The Hague in 1966, a graduate of the Hilversum conservatory. His composition "Memory of Enchantment" received the Thelonious Monk/BMI composition prize in 1996, and was then recorded by Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter on 1+1 (1997).
