Context
Composition by William H. Tyers recorded on June 11, 1942, at Grunewald's music store in New Orleans, during Bunk Johnson's first sessions. The trumpeter, who had stopped playing after losing his instrument and his front teeth in 1931, had been tracked down by the authors of the book Jazzmen. These Jazz Man records, with George Lewis on clarinet, carried the New Orleans revival.
