Context

First solo release by the Swiss pianist, recorded live on November 4, 1976, at the Total Music Meeting in Berlin and released by FMP in 1977. A first session at the Flöz had been discarded because of an out-of-tune piano. The Penguin Guide hears in it her record most marked by Cecil Taylor, without any loss of melodic warmth.
